Haruspex’s Codex

Artistic illustrated book that imitates a workbook for an ancient sumerian temple priest, called Haruspex. Haruspex was a kind of priest who practiced hepatomancy - divination by interpreting animals' internal organs appearance. They most often used the liver, as it was considered a very powerful organ, suitable for such a noble purpose as predicting the future fate of kingdoms and nations. The book was an opportunity to delve into intricate world of internal structures and beauty of organic forms.
